We had Christmas a little earlier this year, and went to Tivoli in Copenhagen for a special fun day out. The weather was cold but behaved itself mostly, snow everywhere, glogg (mulled wine), Santa and Father Frost (Santa's brother Daisy thinks), and many cool rides.

Russian Meets Nordic Xmas


We had a lovely day at Tivoli on Saturday, doing the Vertigo, Demon and the Star Flyer, and meeting Father Frost, the Russian Santa.

Daisy and Ross on the Vertigo Ride - basically you get dropped from a very tall tower and have to find your tummy again.  Very wisely, they did this ride after lunch :)

The Demon Roller Coaster

We did the Demon Ride - very cool upside down, twirly, fast ride.  Daisy showing no fear as usual!!

Banana - Build a Bear

 Meet Banana the Monkey from the Tivoli Build a Bear Workshop - complete with two growlers, one of which went off at 1:00am, 2:36am, 3:45am, 4:10am, 5:45am....... Banana almost had his own hotel room!
